I'm Stefano Tonchi.
I'm the editor-in-chief of W magazine.
We at Bon Appetit and W magazine
is one of the creators of this special evening.
Hi, I'm Adam Rapoport,
editor-in-chief of Bon Appetit magazine.
What's interesting about the Hello Again platform
is it's about reinventing a classic.
We've all been to dinner parties,
but how can you give it a new spin!
For this specific event here in Miami,
we talked that we could look
at the culture of South America.
And, what we've done is integrate
artist, Carlos Amorales, into this amazing
interactive sculpture he's created.
And, then Chef Richard Sandoval has created a menu
inspired by Carlos's sculpture,
so it's kind of takes the whole experience
to a new level.
I'm Carlos Amorales.
I'm here tonight presenting
a sounds sculpture,
it's more like a musical instrument.
I think it's very interesting to think
art in relation to food.
A lot of the experimentation and a lot of
trying different things,
trying to combine different possibilities,
that's very similar to the way we work in art.
I would say there is nothing
more fashionable than food today.
W is all about the lifestyle of
people with culture and food.
It's part of the lifestyle.
I'm Richard Sandoval.
I'm the chef behind tonight's dinner at Toro Toro.
He's an artist.
I consider myself an artist,
so I'm just trying to make sure that tonight's dinner
kind of shows cuisine as an art form.
And, I like to bring people together sharing.
So, I've chosen three elements.
I've chosen silver, copper, and wood,
to really showcase
the food and the ingredients of Latin America.
I used ingredients from Mexico, from Peru,
as my platform
for tonight's dinner,
which is very colorful, bright,
and very explosive.
So, these are my canvases.
I think it's interesting because we both
have the restaurant as a place to perform.
And, in that sense,
I think it's interesting to touch
or enhance different senses.
I think The Plate is about creating an experience.
You can taste different flavors,
and see what a chef has created for you.
At the same time,
see a collaboration between an artist
and a brand like Lincoln,
is not just about art.
It's not just about fashion.
It's not just about food.
They all come together.
The guests get to get involved in the art process
and playing on the sculpture.
Dinner is served in a way they never had dinner before.
But, yet, at the end of the day it's still
great food, great conversation, great friends,
and those are the key ingredients
for any great dinner party.
