As far as inspiration goes, I think I'm very fickle
00:39
with what I focus on that's not music.
00:42
Sometimes I love looking, going in the bookstore
00:45
and looking at painting books.
00:48
Sometimes I'm obsessed with film.
00:49
Sometimes I'll go two months
00:51
without watching a single movie.
00:54
Right now, what's inspiring me,
00:56
I picked up a photo book of Andy Summers,
01:00
who's the guitar player for The Police.
01:02
His photos are like really amazing,
01:05
especially if you're in a band.
01:07
But it's always something that's not music that inspires me.
01:12
I painted these boots.
01:13
These boots have been on tour for three tours,
01:19
and they kind of were at that point
01:22
where I was ready to throw them in the trash.
01:26
I actually have to give credit to the guy from
01:30
The Dandy Project, is that it?
01:32
[Interviewer] Love that blog.
01:33
I love that blog.
01:34
I love him, if you're listening.
01:37
He did a much more elegant job.
01:38
Mine was kind of just like dump them on,
01:43
but um, yeah, it was completely lifted from him.
