Everybody remembers their first kiss. Some are sweet, some are nerve-wracking, and some—as was the case with Cole Sprouse—are just plain weird. “Mine was in the back of a hearse,” Cole shares. “That’s probably where my dark sense of humor comes from.” Meanwhile, his Riverdale co-star Lili Reinhart had a slightly more tame experience—it took place on a movie set. [Lynn] Where was your first kiss?
00:01
In the back of a hearse. [woman laughing]
00:06
This is a weird story.
00:07
Charleen, strange name as well.
00:10
It was on set of a movie.
00:12
I was so nervous.
00:14
Her father was an off-beat man,
00:16
he was an avid Hot Wheels collector,
00:19
but then he also owned a hearse
00:21
and he was part of like this, this hearse club.
00:26
[woman laughing]
00:27
Which is probably where my dark sense of humor comes from.
00:30
I think I didn't really even process
00:32
that I had to do it until I was there
00:34
and I was like, oh shit, I'm about to make out
00:37
with someone for the first time.
00:39
I must have been seven and Charleen, and I and her father
00:44
went to this hearse gathering,
00:46
[woman laughing] in like a park
00:49
where he and his hearse buddies were there
00:52
and we sat in that area of the casket.
00:56
Okay. And we pulled
00:58
open the curtains and were making like,
01:01
scary ghoulish faces out of the window to passing cars
01:03
which we thought was hilarious at the time
01:05
and I still think is quite hilarious.
01:07
And it was like horrifying and my mom was on set,
01:10
not that she really cared,
01:12
not that it was that awkward for us 'cause we're close,
01:14
but it was definitely strange.
01:17
And then we pecked on the lips
01:19
and it was just lightning in a bottle.
01:22
Yeah I got the kiss of death.
01:23
[both laughing]
01:26
And it was an older guy, so that was weird.
01:29
Afterwards I was like thinking, wow,
01:30
I didn't even really have to try that hard.
01:33
I was like, I didn't really have to think
01:34
about what I was doing it just sort of happened.
01:37
So I guess that was a relief.
01:39
I think I was just happy to have it over with.
01:41
I saw her for a little bit but then we changed schools.
01:44
I remember lamenting, the falling of our relationship
01:47
at seven years old. [woman laughing]
01:49
Thinking, Charleen, hopeless romantic.
01:52
