So for this pre-fall collection
00:09
we really were inspired by the idea of nature
00:11
and technology crossing and where one starts and one ends.
00:14
Dubai ended up being the perfect backdrop
00:16
for our collection, where you're in the city
00:19
that's in the middle of a desert but at the same time,
00:21
the most remarkable city at points because
00:22
it has the tallest building in the world
00:24
but then a couple miles out it's strictly desert.
00:27
The contrast between those and the tension between that
00:29
is what really drove us to do this show here.
00:32
Luxury for us is all about the idea of convenience
00:35
and ease and things that sorta make your life easier.
00:39
Here in Dubai, obviously, a lot of luxuries.
00:42
Sort of over the top.
00:43
But I think you can find those pockets,
00:45
that idea of like aspiration to us,
00:48
which is really important.
00:49
Having the vision and then sort of the will to do it
00:52
and then the means to sorta figure it out.
00:55
Those were things, I think,
00:56
that we felt here in this city that really spoke to us.
00:59
In the context of luxury.
01:02
I think travel, for us,
01:03
is where we draw the most inspiration from.
01:06
I mean as much as we love New York,
01:07
it's all about being able to see the world
01:10
and how people connect to each other on different levels.
