My name is Elad Lassry.
This is my small and comfy studio in Los Angeles
on a sunny day and I'm gonna show you some of my work.
Most of my work is being made here.
Right now I'm working on some collages
like this piece that I just made.
I'm basically interested in finding out
what is a picture now or what is a picture
from my understanding what a picture could be.
I never really have a body of work
even though I make bodies of work,
they're not a traditional body of work
in the sense that they're not surrounding
a concept that gets wrapped up.
There is really no beginning and end.
There's actually an ongoing project
that just keeps unfolding.

Right now my next project is actually
the Venice Biennale which I'm very excited about.
And I'm gonna show eight photographs and a film
and some of the photos are here.
I'm gonna show this mushroom photograph
that I'm still working on and I'm still deciding
but some of the things that are in the studio
are gonna be exhibited in Venice in June.
I hope you guys get to see it in Venice.
Thanks for stopping by.
