[Interviewer] What was your favorite birthday?
My birthday's the day after Christmas
so it's always the same. (interviewer laughs)
My whole family just descends on my birthday
and I get no attention. (interviewer laughs)
So I always end up getting really grumpy
and selfish on my birthday.
My favorite, it's always the same, I go to my local pub.
And it is a great way, I'm always at home back at where
my parents live, where I grew up.
It's a great way of getting all my friends back together.
[Interviewer] Do you get presents even though
it's the day after Christmas?
They get worse each year, I find.
I think I got a Harry Potter Cluedo set last year.
A, I'm not 10 years old, and B that's just, that is such
a token effort, mom and dad.
[Interviewer] When you were a kid did they try really hard
to, sort of, differentiate the days?
They did, they were very good, they were very good.
[Interviewer] It's also Boxing Day, right?
Boxing Day, yeah, Boxing.
So you have another holiday, as well.
Yeah, and it's always a holiday,
you're always with your family.
You get, I like getting that shit out of the way,
so it's like, Christmas, birthday, done,
right, don't have to think about it.
I love having a birthday on Boxing Day, I just don't
get enough attention, but then I never get
enough attention just, generally.
