I think it was my 22nd birthday,
00:07
and we had just moved in to this new place,
00:09
me and a couple of my best friends,
00:10
and we were trying to figure out what to do,
00:12
and we decided, one night, very late, we're like (claps)
00:15
we're gonna take a train to Texas,
00:18
we're gonna take a train to Austin,
00:20
and it's totally impractical.
00:23
And it wasn't even cheaper than a flight,
00:25
and it takes 30-something hours.
00:27
But we happened to sit next to this guy,
00:29
Patrick Savan, who still texts me every now and then,
00:32
but he had been taking the trains ever since he was a kid.
00:35
So we had our own tour guide, and we snuck on
00:38
a little bottle of something something,
00:42
and it was just so much fun.
00:44
And then had another celebration in Austin.
00:47
But we made it to Texas, yeah, we made it to Austin.
00:51
I was in decent shape.
