Elle Fanning Secretly Watches (and Cries Over) Dakota's Old Talk Show Videos
Elle Fanning may have been in the industry since practically the day she was born, but the 18-year-old actress isn't afraid to fangirl over encounters with Leonardo DiCaprio – or break out the tears, even just for reruns of "Say Yes to the Dress."

I've like been very sensitive lately to things.
And I was watching,
do you know that show Say Yes To The Dress?
I love that show, and we have like multiple.
We record it for some reason, so we have like multiple
different shows that are, you know, and I just sit there
sometimes and like watch them, and I start like tearing up
when the ladies try on the dress.
And then at the very end when they do like the recap
and you see their wedding, and their just like,
and then the groom is like talking about how beautiful
he thinks that she looks, and I like find myself tearing up.
Like this is so weird.
Or, Dakota doesn't know this, but I like will sometimes
watch old videos of Dakota on talk shows
when she was like, yeah, like six.
She was so cute and I'll just like watch them
over and over again and they make me cry for some reason,
but I'm very nostalgic, so I think that things like that,
kind of like baby album.
Who do I have a crush on?
I'm like very, kind of maybe this is like cliche or,
you know, people say it a lot, and I don't really know him,
but Leonardo DiCaprio, I think, it's like weird for me,
'cause I've always, you know, I have like my central guys.
Like Ryan or like Jared Leto like I really like.
Or then it's like I saw, when I went to the after party,
the Met Ball, we were in like a different area
'cause Dakota's friends with Katy Perry,
and I like get to tag along.
And so then Leonardo DiCaprio came into our area,
and he was like across the room and he was like talking
to Orlando Bloom and like The Weeknd,
and I'm like in the other corner.
And I'm just like starting at him,
trying to like get him to look over.
I don't know.
He didn't look, he did not look.
Favorite love scene I've had.
I haven't had many love scenes yet.
It's like starting to happen if like oh I read the script,
it's like oh, you know, there it is.
I did this movie where I played Mary Shelley.
She wrote Frankenstein.
I just filmed that, but there's like a scene
where a guy likes come up behind me,
but he's my husband, basically.
And then we're like making out and we like fall on the couch
and then he like takes my dress off.
I have like a corset on.
The things you have to do make the corset look good.
Chicken cutlets that we're like putting in.
It's so funny.
We're like oh God, make sure the cutlets are good.
There's so many royals to me.
Right at the moment, I think Cate Blanchett
is like a huge royal to me, I just love her.
She really transforms herself.
She like totally goes there.
Technically, we've done two movies together,
because Benjamin Button I played her younger.
And then Babel, she played my mom,
but she was in Morocco, I was in Mexico,
so we had no scenes together.
Same with Brad Pitt.
He was in both those movies, too.
Didn't work with him.
