[Lynn] What was your favorite birthday?
00:02
Uh, what was my favorite birthday?
00:11
I was weirdly into magic when I was a kid.
00:15
And, um, there's this amazing place in Charing Cross
00:18
in London, called Davenports, which is like
00:19
a proper magician shop.
00:22
It's like a shop where you can go
00:23
and buy like a box to chop people in half and then.
00:26
And I used to sort of go in and stand in the windows there.
00:29
And one year, I think I must've been
00:30
about sort of nine or 10, my mum
00:33
got a guy called Nick Davenport I think his name was,
00:36
his, I remember his business card he did that on it.
00:39
(Lynn laughing)
00:40
And he came and did a magic show and I thought
00:42
that was kind of amazing.
00:43
I thought that was a goodie.
00:44
[Lynn] Did he saw you in half?
00:45
No he didn't, but I think he did produce
00:48
a rabbit from somewhere, which was mighty impressive.
00:52
[Lynn] Did you have many friends there?
00:53
Um, I may I have.
00:55
I think there, no, it was just me.
00:56
(Lynn and Eddie laugh)
00:57
No, there was about, I think there may have been
00:59
about 13 or 14, I think they weren't,
01:00
I think they were a bit too old for magic at that point.
01:02
And I was sort of sitting there earnestly at the front.
