  “A lot of designers were paying attention to neckline details, which reminded me of how one dresses to have a portrait taken,” says Fashion and Style Director Edward Enninful of the recent couture collections in Paris. Inspired, Enninful came up with the concept for this month’s “The Icing on the Cake”, which, he says, is “really centered around that idea of a formal sitting.” But when the photographer is Patrick Demarchelier and the up-and-coming models are wearing elaborate hair creations (sculpted by stylist Malcolm Edwards from Saran Wrap, clay, and watercolored card stock), the results are not your standard headshots.
